“Returning home after a year abroad has a way of putting life into a different perspective. Things that were once important no longer seem important – be it material possessions or ways in which we live our lives. Other aspects of our life, which were given less focus in the past, suddenly take on a higher priority.” These are the words of Lisa Shusterman, my guest this week, who with the help of her husband, put together a world odyssey for their family and changed their lives forever. They homeschooled on the road to get the most out of their travels and in the end discovered that relationships, with each other, their family at home and friends they had left behind or made along the way, are what matter the most. You’ll want to learn more about this adventurous family who put traditional life on hold to travel the world for a year. Be there, this Friday at 8am CT, bring your beverage!
