Please could you pass on many thanks to Lovanne and Carl Whatley for the very kind parcel for Jake. He especially liked the holding cross.  A friend lent him one when he was first ill, so he is particularly pleased to have his own and very kind of them to send it. He takes it with him and hangs on tight when he has an unpleasant procedure like bone marrow aspiration or lumbar puncture of which he has now had 12. They don’t get any better.
He had a very good christmas break with all the famly here and even went to London for a piano lesson. He’s now a week into some intensive treatment and feeling pretty low, so is grateful for all your Texan support. He’s not up to writing at the moment so asked me to write this thank you for him.
