We have just heard the devastating news that Jacob’s leukaemia has relapsed and that there is very, very little chance now of a cure.  The three consultants working with him have agreed that any treatment he now will have is simply to temporarily contain the disease for a few months. We will find out what treatment he will have on Wednesday 29^th.

You don’t need us to tell you we are distraught and unable to fully take this in since he was making good progress in many ways. Jake himself is stunned and speechless of course, but has tried very hard to be brave with his brother and sisters and us because he doesn’t like to see us so upset. It could not be more awful. We cannot cope with talking about it all on the phone so any communications would be better by text or email please, and as always thank you for your continued support and love.
